While aesthetics is a major focus in the creation of any Internet presence, Digital Obliquity also believes in making sure that all content is presented in an accessible manner.
Compliancy
We code using the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) XHTML 1.0 and CSS2 standards. We also take into account the accessiblility requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the US Governments Section 508 standards.
Recommended web browsers
Digital Obliquity does not recommend a specific type of browser but do recommend that all websites are viewed with a current and compliant web browsers
Compliant web browsers use industry standards and therefore will display websites more consistently. Newer versions of web browsers also contain security patches to fix issues identified in older versions of the browser so it makes sense to ensure you have a current version of your browser.
This site is coded using XHTML with CSS layout and will view consistently in compliant web browsers. Content may display slightly differently for older and non-compliant browsers and all information will still be fully accessible, regardless of the browser.
