I have been either establishing digitalobliquity, or employed as graphic/web designer, specialising in print design and standards compliant web design, since the completion of my Visual Arts Practice certificate at Adelaide Central School of Art in 1994.
Following a job from initial client consultation to hand over for production, either external offset printing companies or advanced programmers, has prepared me for a large range of job requirements for traditional and non traditional projects, which I believe will be of benefit when providing any client with the best outcome obtainable.
I work well in a team environment, but at the same time, remain personally accountable for my actions and work quality. A high degree of communication skills and interaction with internal staff and external clients, ranging from administration staff, to upper management and liaison with fellow consultants, owners of other web sites, production teams and other members of the general public has been a large part of my career thus far.
I have successfully completed the Advanced Diploma in Advertising/Graphic Design and the Multimedia Traineeship at Douglas Mawson Institute of TAFE as well as the above mentioned Visual Arts certificate.
If your company or team is looking for the skills I can offer, please contact me. I look forward to the opportunity to answer any questions you may have.
In addition to my design career, I am a practicing photographic artist within the Adelaide art community. I have exhibited locally, at Adelaide Central Gallery with my 'Questioning: The words of King Lemuel' one man show, and the 'Bodyscape Series 1' Studio Gallery exhibition. 'Sugar and Spice', held at Echo Gallery in Chicago, USA, was my first international suspension.
